Where?

Location of the light lunch:

Seminar Room U7-a (Roomcode 3505.EG.017, Ground Floor)
TUM Campus Straubing for Biotechnology and Sustainability
     Uferstraße 53
     94315 Straubing

The joint dinner takes place at Restaurant TONI’s (Genusshotel Wenisch, Innere Passauer Str. 59, 94315 Straubing), which is within walking distance of the university.

Getting There

  • By car, Straubing can be reached via the federal highway B20, which is accessible from the highways A3 (Straubing) or A92 (Landau a. d. Isar).
  • There are good train connections to Straubing. If you want to use public transportation from Munich to Straubing, you can either take the RE3 with a change in Plattling or the RE2/RE25 with a change in Neufahrn (i. NdB.).
  • For details, check the University guide, the Tourist information, or the City guide.
  • The university campus is located almost centrally in the city next to the Danube river, about 1.5 km from the train station. Walking from the train station to the university takes about 15-20 minutes and getting there by taxi takes about 5 minutes.
